Today, 5/2/23, is a scheduled PeakRewards preseason cycling test event.

A preseason cycling event has been activated to test our PeakRewards system operations and customer communications. To minimize potential customer inconvenience, the event will occur between 10 am and 2 pm. You will not be able to override participation in this cycling event.

If you are enrolled in the PeakRewards Air Conditioning program, your air conditioner will be cycled up to your full cycling level (50%, 75%, or 100%) for the duration of the event.

PeakRewardsSM Electric Water Heater Program

The PeakRewards Electric Water Heater program helps you conserve energy — and save money — during times of high energy demand. Plus, participants receive $25 in BGE bill credits each winter, paid in four equal monthly installments of $6.25 from November through February.

As of April 1, 2021, the PeakRewards Electric Water Heater program is closed, and participants will no longer receive bill credits.
