About PeakRewards
The PeakRewards program encourages participants to use less air conditioning on “peak demand” days in exchange for credits on their BGE bill. The program helps keep down overall energy costs, reduce the need for additional power plants and ease the burden on Maryland’s electricity delivery system as our state’s population continues to grow.
